Oliver Lister is a film and animation director working across industries. Combining live action, animation and design, he creates visually driven work that brings stories to life in unexpected ways. Originally starting out in motion design, Oliver spent years developing a deep understanding of the entire creative process, from concept and storytelling through to directing, editing and animation. That foundation continues to shape his approach today, allowing him to move between disciplines and find creative solutions that feel both ambitious and achievable.

His work often sits at the intersection of craft and comedic playfulness, whether building miniature worlds, blending practical techniques with visual effects, or finding new ways to tell a story through movement and direction.

With over a decade of agency experience, Oliver brings a deep understanding of the creative process, helping brands, agencies and in-house teams get the most from every project.

Oliver is the founder and creative director of TIG.London, an independent creative production studio specialising in film, animation and design. Together with a trusted network of collaborators, the teams around each project keep the process agile while delivering work with scale and impact.

At the heart of it all is TIG's simple goal: to create work that becomes unignorable.
